Goin on 8 Months

I didnt take any pics of my last ligature change...been way too busy. But I got a new wire put on to raise my teeth....that was painful. I wore that for 6 weeks then went in and got my Ligatures changed and my bottom braces put on Tuesday, June 23rd . I had forgotten how freakin painful it was to have fresh braces on! UGH! Not to mention I was very sick with Strep Throat! He also put some Bite ramps on the back of my 2 top front teeth to keep my top teeth from biting down on my bottom brackets because of my overbite. And...it sucks. I HATE them. I can handle the pain but not being able to bite down and chew my food? Thats torture. Especially since I am 28 weeks preggy...no bueno. I can handle them for a month but no more than that. So teeth get to movin!!!

**Almost 6 months in**

Its been about 6 months in my braces....I go in on the 13th to get them adjusted and new ligatures. My ortho said after this visit Ill come back in 4 weeks and get my bottom braces on! Im super excited!! Im not sure whats gonna happen with my baby teeth since Im preggy...if they will wait till after I have the baby or go ahead and pull them suckers out. We will see. My bite has widened sooo much!!

4 months In!!

I know I havent posted any new pics...Ive been lazy!! haha I have been through 2 tightenings since I last posted anything. Its been 4 months now and I go in on the 1st to get my ligatures changed and I get a thicker wire. YAY...LOL! I can tell a big change but you might not be able too....the last 2 months have been widening my bite instead of straighening my teeth it seems!! haha

*One Month In!!*

This was taken the day I got them on...see how much they have moved?! Whew...I have been busy! I just wanted to post some recent pics of my braces and show everyone how much they are moving! I went in on the 21st and got them tightened with New wires and new Purple bands. woo hoo! I go in again January 14th to get them tightened again!! Ill keep yall updated!

*Quick Update*

Its been 12 days now with my top braces on....I can see some changes already! Im pretty much used to them and they arent sore anymore. They just feel loose! Im going in on the 9th to have my 2 surface cavities filled so wish me luck! Other than that everything is pretty normal...just waiting for my teeth to really start straightening out!!

Got them suckers on today!!

I went in today and got my top braces put on! They feel extremely weird....I feel like im slobbering all the time. haha And it hasnt been that sore yet, just a little pressure and its giving me a headache. Im sure tomorrow Im gonna be hurting! I definately look like Im 12! uggghhh....Im just trying to think of the outcome! Ill be posting pics monthly so yall can see how my teeth are moving! Thanks for reading!

Treatment Plan Consultation

I went in on Thursday just to chat with my Ortho and see what the plans were! Well....Im getting my top braces put on November 21st! Im super anxious! I have to wear those for 6-8 months and then get all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out AND my two top baby teeth pulled. After having them pulled I have to get them chained down to move my permanent teeth into place. It sounds sooo bad but he showed me a picture of someone with it and you cant really tell that bad. Hopefully I can overcome the pain!! Then after all that he will put my bottom braces on and its only uphill from there! Im just so excited, Im gonna have purdy teeth FINALLY! I have been dreaming about this for years and years.....Im so grateful!
